Important Information
Guidelines and Procedures for Non-Compliance including Levels of Non-Compliance and the Resulting Outcomes

Purpose:

Events sponsored by student organizations, departments and off-campus entities are booked, set up, enforced and managed through the Student Center & Event Services office (SCES).

SCES also administers campus policies. Three levels of infractions are listed below by the degree of severity of the infraction. For each level, a consequence of the infraction is indicated.

Outcomes of Non-Compliance

A written notice of non-compliance will be sent to the authorized signer(s) and organization lead(s). Cases involving a registered student organization will be reported to the Student Life & Leadership office and, if appropriate, the Office of Student Conduct. UCIPD will be contacted whenever a state or federal law is violated.

Levels of Non-Compliance and Corresponding Outcomes:

Level I Infractions

  3. Two written notices in one quarter will result in a change of the organization’s status from “Good Standing” to “Warning.”
